Over the years, Jupiter Play has put its specialist skills in learning through play into designing outdoor play spaces for numerous schools.
As an extension of the learning experienced in the more formal setting of the classroom, the importance of space in an outdoor environment to learn through play should not be underestimated. Equally, children need space and time to think and play freely, which in turn offers many benefits in class time too.
Each project we undertake is progressed on an individual basis – just as no two children are the same, no two schools can be given the same ‘treatment’. As such we take time to understand the school’s ethos, the value it places on play and to engage with all concerned to get the best solution for the outdoor space available, fitting with the priorities of the school and the development of the children.
Drawing on a wealth of products and knowledge, our landscape architect and designer, can make the flow between indoor and outdoor play and learning a seamless one.
