Allow us to introduce… ‘Cyclops’ TM
After nearly a year of product development and rigorous field testing, ‘Cyclops’ from Inclusive Play is ready to be unveiled and is available to order NOW! These futuristic creatures went down a storm with the children of East Lothian when they were installed in Lauderdale Park earlier this year. The feedback received was used to improve the product which was then showcased at Saltex 2009 to the delight of children and adults alike!
Cyclops utilises optical and secure wireless technology to enable children to look round the park and hopefully find and talk to their Cyclops friend! An LCD screen is set into the structure and children can move the controls to adjust their view. The screen is housed at an optimum height for wheelchair users, with a recessed foot well to allow a wheelchair user to get close to the action.
Children can then talk to the other Cyclops user who could be anywhere in the park – the distance between the units is almost limitless as there is no wiring or underground cabling.
