Phase 1 of this project involved the development of a play space which utilized the steep bank in the corner of a large recreation ground. After carrying out a detailed survey of the site and a considerable amount of client consultation we formulated the design of a bespoke unit which aimed to create a feeling of a tree top walkway.
The components of the unit test the users balance and co-ordination. The views created are impressive and there is an incredible feeling of height from each of the platforms, encouraging imaginative play as well as fitting in well with its surrounding landscape.
‘The project brief was, I am sure, one of the most difficult that you have come across, but the designs were excellent and delivery equally impressive.
The play facility has made use of a large bank that has been neglected for many years and will provide dynamic, challenging and rewarding play for its future users. It will be a pleasure to work with you again on future projects.’
John Parrott, Landscape Officer

Phase 2 of the design is currently undergoing community consultation.
